It has already been 5 months since graduation. How the time does fly when you are living your life to the fullest! I have now moved into the house that I grew up in. I have come back finally to study the occurrences of my youth that put me on the path to become the person I am now. If I am being completely honest (which seems only right since this is my journal! ha!) I am not just here to study but to confront head on what I could not as a child. Of course it is Emily. All comes back to her, always. There is an engrained need to understand (or to at least know!) what happened to her on that fateful summer day that I was too afraid to follow her into the cave. No more! Whatever aberrant or unusual occurrence may lie ahead, I am prepared. My eye now trained to see that which is usually overlooked. My brain now cultivated with all of the available recorded academic materials on the subject- to date. I plan to add to these archives. So for now, entry one- my office is set and am home.
